Annual Rehearsal / BBQ

Rehearsal will be held outdoors this year, under a tent in the backyard, where we will also have plenty of shade and cold water (among other beverages) available.

We will hold our annual Meeting of Members at 8:45am sharp, during which we will elect our board of directors for the 2021-2022 year. If you wish to add your name to the ballot, let Joel Fierberg know ahead of time (at president@uclaalumniband.org) or that day, before the vote.

Rehearsal will be held from 9:00am to noon, during which time we will all reacquaint ourselves with our instruments and music. Following the rehearsal, we will enjoy a nice BBQ lunch with all the fixin’s. (Note: this year, due to COVID protocols, the Alumni Band will provide all food, including salads and desserts. This will NOT be a potluck.)

In order to make sure we have the right amount of food, please reply to this email by Tuesday, August 10 to let us know if you will be joining us, and if so, how many guests you plan to bring.

Since we’re providing for online renewals this year, we will not be processing membership renewals at the rehearsal.
